چکیده

In this paper we present a variant of message sequence diagrams called EETs Extended Event Traces We provide the graphical notation discuss the methodological use of EETs to describe behavior of object oriented busi ness information systems and sketch their semantics Special emphasis is put on the di erent implications of using EETs for exemplary and complete interaction descriptions The possibility to describe interactions between single objects as well as composite objects with EETs makes them particularly suitable to describe the behavior of large systems

Methodology of Description in Shaykh al – Ishraq

As an ontologist philosopher Shaykh al – Isharq believes in a heirarchegal being on the basis of which presents his classification of various descriptions. These descriptions are various both in terms of longitudinal and latitudinal. That is, for instance though his intative descriptions are at the latitude of his logical analytic descriptions, possesses itself a longitudinal order successiv...

'Speech-Smile', 'Speech-Laugh', 'Laughter' and Their Sequencing in Dialogic Interaction

Laughing is examined auditorily and acoustico-graphically, on the basis of exemplary speech data from spontaneous German dialogues, as pulmonic air stream modulation for communicative functions, paying attention to fine phonetic detail in interactional context. These phonetic case descriptions of laughing phenomena in speaker interaction in a small corpus have as their goal to create an awarene...

Interaction with 3-D Objects

Among the several issues related to real-time animation of virtual human actors, the ability to interact with virtual objects requires special attention. Take as example usual objects as: automatic doors, general furniture, or a lift. Interaction with such objects can easily become too complex for real-time applications. Some of the related problems involve: recognition of manipulation places, ...

Is it Really that Simple? The Complexity of Object Descriptions in Human-Computer Interaction

In the literature on verbal human-computer interaction there is general consent that humans’ preconceptualisations of the machine’s capabilities lead to conceptual and syntactic simplifications of the language used. We present a Wizard of Oz / Confederate study where humans communicate with either a system or an expert in a localization task in a complex building, in a setting which encourages ...

Design Modification of Rogowski Coil for Current Measurement in Low Frequency

The principle object of this paper is to offer a modified design of Rogowski coil based on its frequency response. The improvement of the integrator circuit for nullifying the phase difference between the waveforms of the measured-current and the corresponding terminal voltage is a further object of this investigation. This paper addresses an accurate, yet more efficient measuring and protect...
